The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability, and as a Surrey-based charity, is close to home for many of the students in Weekites. The charity works to offer rehabilitation, education and community services to work with the children and their families, helping them to lead the best life possible. Every year over 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness, causing physical or learning difficulties that changes the lives of their families. The Children's Trust makes a significant impact with its medical services and special school to give these children amazing opportunities. Their passionate, caring and dedicated child experts help these young people to rebuild their lives. Our main fundraising event will be a triathlon involving all the members of the house. We will be using a cycling machine, treadmill and rowing machine to travel the equivalent distance of the perimeter of Surrey. We want our house to make a big difference and hope to raise an incredible amount in support of this charity. Any donation, big or small, will be significantly appreciated by the Children's Trust families and children.
