It's been a few years since my last marathon and I'm getting worried that my physio will have forgotten what I look like. So I've signed up to run the London Marathon on April 28th 2019 and have decided to raise money for The Cure Parkinson's Trust.
The Cure Parkinson's Trust is a wonderful charity that funds research to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s. They do fantastic, important work for a cause my family and I really care about - so please do give as generously as you can!
I've chosen Pledgit to handle my fundraising as their fees are a fraction of what JustGiving charge. This means that a very high proportion of whatever you give will reach the charity and be put to good use. Pledgit also gives me, the fundraiser, the opportunity to put my money where my mouth is, and so the first £500 of your donations will be match-funded.
I had better get running! If anyone has podcast recommendations (or any tips on how to avoid injury!) they would be gratefully received.
Thank you so much in advance for your donation - I really appreciate it!
