I am running a marathon in Sierra Leone on May 28th to raise money for Street Child. The core aim of Street Child is to help children who are living on the streets in Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Liberia and Nepal, to access education and a home. In 2016 Street Child began a new campaign aimed at tackling barriers to girls' education, including poverty, teenage pregnancy and early marriage. In my travels I have seen such clear evidence of how destructive these problems are, not just to girls and women and their development, but to whole communities, and how a little thoughtful, targeted support can make an enormous and sustainable difference. Please help me to contribute to what I firmly believe is a brilliant and worthwhile campaign. Every little bit helps, and is hugely appreciated.
