I'm pledging £10,000 to Into University, a fantastic charity which helps children from poor backgrounds fulfil their academic potential.
IU has 21 learning centres around the country, providing free after-school classes and career guidance. They are centres of learning, but more than that - they are centres of OPTIMISM. Yes, they help kids pass exams, but encouraging an 'anything's possible' mentality is just as important.
As a businessman, I'm results-driven. The reason I'm pledging for Into University is that I know that it achieves results. in 2014, 79% of its students went on to university compared to the national average for state schools of 34%. Another study concluded that for every £1 donated, £4.20 of social good was produced. It is fantastic value.
If you want your generosity to make a difference, I urge you to donate to this campaign. For every £1 you give, I will give £1, up to £10,000. Together let's help Into University open more centres. Each one will boost the lives of bright, hungry children who want to make the most of their lives and just need a little help to get there.
Thank you.
